‘Wear Green, Be Green’ Mufti Day
14th June 2024
On Friday 14th June we will be having a ‘Wear Green, Be Green’ mufti day to raise awareness of the Climate Crisis, but also to celebrate all that we do at school to help the environment. Children are welcome to come to school in ‘GREEN’ mufti to mark this event. In addition, as it is ‘Wear Green, Be Green’ it would be wonderful if children could commit to completing one or more of the following ‘Green’ tasks.
- Walk or cycle to school
- Have a plastic free lunch
- Turn off the lights for an hour
- Pick up litter
- Have a paper free day
In addition the ECO Council will be holding a ‘Swap don’t shop’ stall from 3pm in the school hall. We invite you all to come along and help the environment by reducing, reusing and recycling. Items including books and toys will be available to take home for free in the hope that unwanted items can be rehomed. Donations: In order for us to have the stall we are looking for donations of unwanted books and toys. Please bring these to school before Friday 7th June.
