I had the privilege of looking at all the wonderful published writing in Maple Class this week. These children really stood out! Well done

Here is a snapshot of the launch of the whole school writing project, based on Raymond Briggs’s Snowman. The children arrived in a snowstorm and enjoyed hot chocolate before using the green screen to create ‘flying’ pictures. A wonderful start to this unit of work. Congratulations to our sporting star of the week. Mrs Roberts has really noticed you working hard in PE this week. Well done!

It was lovely to hear of the achievements of these children from their out of school activities. We had a rugby ‘leader of the match’ trophy, 100% score on a mathematics game and a 10m swimming award! Congratulations 👏

Thank you to the PTA for organising such a fun spooky disco! I hope that everyone has a wonderful half-term break. A reminder that school is closed to pupils on Monday 30th October, due to staff training.
